Keene Housing invites sealed bids for Lead Remediation of Unit #1, Common stairs and hallways, exterior trim, siding and exterior soils. located at 6 School Street in Marlborough, NH, in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents prepared by Integrated Lead Inspections Services and Stevens & Associates, PC, 95 Main Street, Brattleboro, Vermont. Scope of Work: Includes lead remediation of interior and exterior wood trim and siding, plaster and soils as described in the Integrated Lead Inspections Services OPP/Work Scope Report, with supplemental photos included in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. Site and building will remain occupied during construction, except for Unit #1, which will be vacant during lead remediation. The project is expected to be substantially completed within 8 weeks of starting the project. Bidder Qualifications: Bidder must be a Certified Lead Abatement Contractor registered with the State of New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and have a current EPA Renovate Repair and Paint Certification to qualify for this project. All bids should be sealed and clearly marked as "Keene Housing: Lead Remediation - 6 School Street " and as indicated in the instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security, Cashier Check or Bond and all documentation requested in the specifications. Contract Completion Time: The Owner anticipates authorizing the Notice to Proceed on or before February 25, 2025. The Contractor will commence the work required by the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion for the project is anticipated to be on or before, April 22, 2025 (approximately 8 weeks). Completion time will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bid Contract Documents will be available Wednesday, January 15th, 2025.
