The RM of Pleasantdale #398 is requesting tenders for Gravel Crush. The gravel crush will occur at two separate locations: a) 20,000 yds3 to be crushed at SW 29-42-16 W2 and loading trucks for stockpile purposes. b) 10,000 yds3 to be crushed at NE 27-41-16 W2 and loading trucks for stockpile purposes. Specifications: Gravel crush 3/4 inch; Metric sieve series Type 104 - 106 traffic gravel as per Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure. Completion Date: March 15, 2025 Time will be of the essence of the Contract made with the successful bidder and the contractor will be required to comply strictly with the start date of the first week in February 2025 and completion date of March 15, 2025 and subject to the terms of the contract. Penalty of $500/day may be applied at the discretion of the municipality for late completion. The Municipality reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality.
