Site work and renovation of a civil project in Canton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 02/07/2025 at 5:00 PM ET All questions related to the Project shall be submitted by email to the Engineer (Daniel Smith, P.E. daniel.smith@r2tinc.com) The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals and performing all work required to construct improvements for the existing Intake Gate Vault structure at CCMWA's Hickory Log Creek Pumping Station: Raising the existing vault structure to 2-feet above 100-year base flood elevation (BFE) to eliminate the potential from sediment and debris entering the system during flood events. Raising the gate stems and equipping the existing 30-inch intake slide gates located at the vault with electric actuators with remote control. The project includes mobilization, access inside the gate vault and pump station, concrete and brick masonry construction, installation of new electric actuators, replacement of existing gate stems, electrical improvements, and installation of new ladders, stairs, railing, security gate, and hatches. A condition assessment of the four (4) existing gates and frames is included in the Work along with the responsibilities of dewatering and flood protection for the existing intake gate vault during construction.
