The vendor shall provide licensed, qualified personnel to add a High friction surface treatment according to the specifications and conditions: **Please note that this project is in conjunction with our yearly road resurfacing RFP. The timeline of completion to add the High Friction Surface treatment will be aligned with road resurfacing for both Laurel Canyon Parkway and Great Sky Parkway. A. Laurel Canyon Parkway o Furnish and install high friction surface treatment as per the GDOT Specification 419 o Furnish and install thermoplastic double yellow line. B. Great Sky Parkway o Furnish and install high friction surface treatment as per the GDOT Specification 419 o Furnish and install thermoplastic double yellow line. Additionally: The construction includes, but not limited, to the following: o Furnishing all: materials (unless specifically stated otherwise), equipment, and labor necessary to construct the project. Representatives from the City of Canton will perform construction inspections of the work and will approve work progress as defined in the scope of work. o Material testing will be the responsibility of the Contractor and upon completion a letter certifying that the project meets required placement and compaction standards shall be required by the contractor. City and GDOT specifications apply. o Street shall be striped to match existing location and arrangement using thermoplastic pavement markings. Striping must be completed within 2 weeks of final overlay. This policy is strictly enforced. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and re-advertise.
