Proposal for qualified proposers to provide and replace LED Lighting Conversions within the schools as specified. In the best interest of CCSD, projects may be awarded to multiple proposers. The awarded proposer(s) will be assigned to a school location determined by the CCSD. All questions must be answered through online. Scope of Work - Proposer must include with proposal response a written Scope of Work (SOW) detailing the proposers plan to implement, service, and manage this contract in accordance with the CCSD's specifications, relevant laws, and industry "best practices". A. Design Methodology - Please describe, in detail, the design methodology to be employed to validate the lighting design to achieve the desired foot-candle requirements. Please provide an example. B. Construction Management Methodology - Please describe your methodology for contracting and overseeing the "construction" requirements of this contract. This shall include planning, coordination, installation, warranty, and occupant involvement. C. Warranty Management - Awarded proposers shall provide a labor warranty from the date of substantial completion of each project. Material warranty sho A. Interior Lights o All drivers must be rated for greater than 300 volts. o Any florescent fixture must be replaced with an LED flat panel of the same size (i.e., 2x4, 2x2, 1x4, etc.) o Mezzanine/Electrical/Mechanical rooms with open 2-bulb fixtures should be replaced with LED tube bulbs. Ballast should be removed. o Retrofit all can lights to LED. o Gym and cafeteria lights must be replaced with new LED fixtures. Lumen study must be performed to ensure adequate but not over-lighting is achieved. o Decorative fixtures must be retrofitted with LED tubes. B. Exterior Lights o Wall packs shall be no less than 32 watts, o Wall packs should be replaced with a similar style to the existing fixture. o Awning lights should be whole fixture replacements, not bulb replacements. o All holes in awnings/building exterior should be filled and water sealed. C. Dimmer Switches o Priced as an addition on proposal form per room for CCSD to determine use cases. (Hallways/common areas will not have dimmers.) o Hard wire controlled. o Any exposed wiring should be in wire mold, not EMT conduit. o CCSD's Preferred brand for Dimmer Switches is Diva 0-10 V Controls (Attachment E) Proposer may submit pricing for an equivalent brand General Specifications A. Fixture/Driver information must be submitted to CCSD Office of Support Services for review before installation. B. Every light at the facility must be replaced or retrofitted to an LED. C. Proposer is responsible for providing a dumpster for disposal of all materials. Materials should not be disposed of in School/Locations dumpsters. Placement of dumpster must be approved by CCSD Office of Support Services designee. D. Proposers must provide their own lift. E. Proposer must provide their own storage of materials/equipment. F. Project must be priced as turnkey. G. A lumen study must be performed to ensure accurate illumination of the space. H. All lights should at minimum meet the Georgia Department of Education foot candle standards. I. All work performed must meet National Electrical Code. J. Proposer must assist with any rebates. K. Building keys will be provided to the awarded proposer for specific locations.
