Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Hearst, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The work included in this project consists of architectural, mechanical and electrical work required to complete the renovations at Université de Hearst, 60 9th St, Hearst, Ontario, P0L 1N0. Library Upgrade: Commence work on Thursday, February 20 th, 2025 Substantial completion of the work described in the Contract, barring delays as prescribed by the Conditions of the Contract by Friday, March 28 th, 2025. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security as follows: Bid bond, Certified Cheque, Bank Draft or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of 10% of bid price. The accepted Bidder shall provide to the Owner a Performance Bond in an amount not less than 50% of the Bid Price and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond in an amount not less than 50% of the Bid Price. Alternatively, the accepted bidder shall provide to the Owner a Certified Cheque, Bank Draft or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit in an amount not less than 20% of the bid price. The Letter of Credit shall be in the form appended to this division. The Owner reserves the discretionary right to Accept or reject any or all Tenders without being required to provide further explanation.
