Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project involves removing the existing boat ramp and pier, installing new concrete panel boat ramp, adding an asphalt turnaround, and erosion control. The site is located at Upper Rock Lake Park at N6999 Rock Lake Rd, Lake Mills, WI 53551. A Prebid conference will not be held. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record. Questions received from Bidders that do not, in Engineer's opinion, allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to the Town of Lake Mills at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to the Town of Lake Mills equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the Town of Lake Mills as liquidated damages.
