Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saugerties, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 500-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION Work for 2024-2025 COEP located at 1225 State Route 19 / P.O. Box 244, Wyoming, New York, 14591. All project-related questions shall be directed to Brady Morrison; Phone: 716-489-2555 Email: bmorrison@cplteam.com. RFI's, prior to bidding, will be accepted until 3:00PM on Monday, February 10th, 2025. The Wyoming Central School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of Wyoming Central School District. NOTE: The awarding of bidder's Contract will be subject to the approval of the New York State Education Department. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid is required and must accompany proposal. Performance Bond and Labor Material Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of Contract Sum are required to be delivered at time Contract is signed with Owner. Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the following: - The Owner's sales tax exemption. - The requirements as to conditions of employment. - The minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. - The requirements pertaining to certification of Non-Collusion in preparation of proposals submitted for this Project. - The New York State Department of Labor Contractor Registry. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after date of bid opening. In addition, the Bidding Documents for this project contain detailed requirements for the qualification of Bidders as follows: - Rigid bonding and insurance requirements. - A statement of Surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The project consists of reconstruction work at the 86-year-old C.M Riccardi Elementary School involving replacement of aged exterior doors, frames, hardware; extension of the card access system; and construction of new exterior handicap accessible ramp with handrails and guardrails to improve handicapped routes / accessibility around the building.
