Site work and paving for a civil project in Valley, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of constructing 4,125 LF of 6- and 8-inch D.I.P. Water Main, 3,475 LF of 8-inch to 12-inch PVC Sanitary Sewer, 2,200 LF of 18inch to 36-inch RCP Storm Sewer, 12,800 SY of 9-inch concrete pavement, and various other miscellaneous appurtenances. Separate Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 - Sanitary Sewer, Water Main, and Storm Sewer Improvements, and Contract No. 2 - Paving Improvements. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Work under the proposed Contract No. 1 shall be commenced within ten calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed, and the work shall be substantially completed on or before July 1, 2025, and completed by August 1, 2025, subject to any extension of time which may be granted by the Owner. Work under the proposed Contract No. 2 shall be commenced within ten calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed, and the work shall be substantially completed on or before October 1, 2025, and completed by October 15, 2025, subject to any extension of time which may be granted by the Owner. No pre-bid conference will be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at online at A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc. the office of the City of Valley, Nebraska 203 North Spruce Street, Valley, Nebraska, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and the office of the Engineer, EAGLE ENGINEERING GROUP, 12100 W Center Road, Suite 803, Omaha, Nebraska 68144, Gregory Perry, PE, gregp@eagleengineeringgroup.com, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available for download or on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files for a non-refundable charge of $20.00 payable to "A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc." Refundable deposit shall be returned to the Bidder upon receipt of the contract documents in re-useable condition and within 14 days after award of the project. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Question Deadline 01/31/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
