The Project consists of constructing new 7-inchconcrete street paving and other miscellaneous appurtenances.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Work under the proposed Project Contract shall be commenced within ten calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed, and the work shall be substantially completed on or before September 1, 2025, and completed by September 15, 2025, subject to any extension of time which may be granted by the Owner. Refundable deposit shall be returned to the Bidder upon receipt of the contract documents in re-useable condition and within 14 days after the award of the project. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents wil lbe sent via the prospective Bidder's deliverymethod of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. No pre-bid conference will be held.Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.No Bidder shall withdraw his Bid within30 days after the actual date of the openingthereof.The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
