**As of April 10, 2025, the project was awarded to Advance Excavating Specialists, with an awarded amount of $3,814,284.60.** Furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the NE Downtown Sewer Rehabilitation. This Contract is divided into six schedules of work. The work includes the following: . Replacement of approximately 5,525 lf of gravity sewer main with 8-inch PVC pipe; . Replacement of approximately 195 lf of gravity sewer main with 12-inch PVC pipe; . Replacement of approximately 775 lf of water main with 8- inch PVC pipe; . Replacement of side sewers and water services; . Surface restoration. Engineer's Estimate $4,110,000 The Work shall be substantially complete within 180 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Kalama, Washington. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Kalama" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. All work on the project shall be subject to the higher of the State or Federal wage rates.
