Renovation of a mixed-use development in Marquette, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
**As of March 7, 2025 the project has not been awarded yet. The timeline for award has not yet been established.** Marquette Armory Modifications DTMB File No. 511/22360.JBB DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project includes interior renovation and reconfiguration of existing spaces. The renovation will provide all new restrooms, unit storage, a classroom, new vault, office, training room, hazardous materials storage, and other miscellaneous support areas. The renovation will require asbestos removal/abatement, lead paint work procedures, reinforcement of the existing roof structure in various locations to accommodate new HVAC equipment, interior wall demolition and reconfiguration, interior finishes replacement, and new MEP to the reconfigured spaces. Site work includes small amounts of pavement removal and replacement, fencing removal and replacement, concrete stairs and pads, HMA patching, an Oil Water Separator, relocating underground utilities, and restoration. There are alternates for removal of an existing chimney and for adding new HVAC to the drill hall. One single contract for all trades.
