Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Marquette, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Base Bid: Refer to the (22) twenty-two Architectural Site Plan Keynotes as shown on drawing sheet G002. Bid Alt #1: Installation of a backup generator and automatic transfer switch, along with related circuit breakers, service wires, and all other necessary wiring and equipment to provide full backup power for the entire building. Work of the Project includes various improvements to the interior and exterior including: BASE BID: (Refer to Keynotes on sheet G002 Overall Architectural Site Plan for more information) 1. Remove and replace portion of existing chain-link fence with new chain-link fence. 2. Remove existing chain-link fence and replace with the same composite fence panel material as the dumpster enclosure (Ultra Eclipse aluminum privacy panels, 7'-0" high double stacked). Existing con crete foundation to remain. Existing wood fence, where occurs, to remain intact (not in scope). 3. Remove and replace existing roll-up door at shipping /receiving. 4. Existing tree to remain. 5. Dedicate Northeast corner of the parking lot for snow storage. Provide new rolled curb in this area. 6. Remove existing (unused) wood light pole in corner of parking lot. In-fill hole and provide topsoil, seed & straw. 7. Provide (3) new parking lot light fixtures w/ exterior pole, led light, and concrete foundation. Fixture shall be "Teresa 102 double head post light, 84 watt, 16'-0" height, finish black" or approved equal. See detail A4 on A102. Intercept existing conduit from previously demolished parking lot lights. 8. Adjust parking lot lines and islands to provide turning radius for 53' - 0" long semi-truck w/ trailer. See Civil drawings. 9. Remove existing metal light pole w/ lamp and base at parking lot entrance. In-fill hole and provide top soil, seed & straw. 10. Reduce grade at entrance to parking lot. See Civil drawings. 11. Provide new 5' - 0" wide sidewalk w/ ADA approach to parking lot. Continue proposed 5' -0" wide sidewalk w/ curb & gutter past the parking lot entrance, along the south side of the site, until it meets the existing curb & gutter (near the existing sign). 12. Provide (2) new decorative down lights w/ pole and concrete foundation at parking lot entrance. Fix ture shall be "Teresa 101 single head post light, 84 watt, 14'-0" height, finish black" or approved equal. Intercept existing conduit from previously demolished parking lot entry light. See detail A3 on A102. 13. Remove existing sign and place new plaque in same location. 14. Provide (5) new decorative down lights w/ pole and concrete foundation along existing sidewalk. Fix ture shall be "Teresa 101 single head post light, 84 watt, 12'-0" height, finish black" or approved equal. Intercept existing conduit from nearby (previously demolished) site light. See detail A2 on A102. 15. Remove existing light pole and route wiring to new decorative down lights. 16. Sandblast and paint existing handrails on both sides of existing sidewalk. 17. Remove & replace portion of 5' - 0" wide concrete sidewalk (approx. 75 sq. ft.). 18. Remove existing planter box. provide new 5' - 0" wide concrete sidewalk to connect parking lot to ex isting patio. 19. Replace existing 5' - 0" wide concrete sidewalk with 8' - 0" wide concrete sidewalk, centered on door to building addition. 20. Replace concrete apron at west end building entrance. Tie into proposed 8' - 0" wide concrete side walk and align with sidewalk centered on the door at the building addition. 21. Add proposed curb cut to existing concrete sidewalk. Provide new 6" reinforced concrete apron, 12' wide at street, 8' wide at sidewalk (approx. 105 sq.ft.). Direct questions in writing to randerson@upea.com.
