Site work for a civil project in Morristown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Woodland Sewage Treatment Plant RAS and WAS Piping Replacement This project will include the removal and replacement of RAS piping, WAS piping, thickened sludge piping, and valves at the Township's Woodland Sewage Treatment Plant since they are at or near the end of their useful life and in need of replacement. The Township of Morris will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail or delivery service. The guaranty accompanying the bid proposal shall be given in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid, minimum of $500.00 and not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), and may be given at the option of the bidder by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or a Bid Bond from a reputable insurance company licensed in the State of New Jersey. Pursuant to P.L. 2004, c.57 (N.S.A. 52:32-44) effective September 1, 2004, all business organizations that conduct business with a New Jersey government agency are required to be registered with the State of New Jersey. Bidders and their subcontractors must submit proof that they are registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue by submitting a copy of their Business Registration Certificate. Failure to provide the Business Registration Certificate prior to award of the contract will be cause for rejection of the bid as being nonresponsive. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17-27. No interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents will be made to any bidder orally. Any request for interpretations shall be made in writing, via email to Durchasinq@morristwp.com, and to be given consideration, must be received at least twelve (12) days - Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted - prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids Bids may be held by the Township of Morris for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Demolition and removal of RAS, WAS, and thickened sludge piping and valves. Installation of new RAS, WAS, and thickened sludge piping, and valves including pipe supports and hangers. Testing of RAS, WAS, and thickened sludge piping, and valves. Final clean-up and demobilization. Pursuant to P.L. 2010, c. 108, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3 authorizes a bidder to request withdrawal of a public works bid due to a mistake on the part of the bidder within five days after the opening of the bids. The Township reserves the right to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2
