On 1/24/25, Amendment 01 was issued to provide responses to prospective offerors' questions and revise exhibits to reflect the transition of mangement and operations of Fermilab from Fermi Research Alliance (FRA) to Fermi Forward Discovery Group (FFDG). See attached Amendment 01 document for more information. Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL) is requesting proposals for the installation of three (3) bedrock monitoring wells at the Booster Neutrino Beam (BNB). The wells will be installed to a depth of approximately 67 feet below ground surface (bgs) with a secondary steel surface casing. The project is located on the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) Site, adjacent to the city of Batavia, Illinois. Refer to the site map for the exact location of the BNB. The Subcontractor shall furnish all required supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform diligently and fully all work as described in the drawings and technical specifications. All work includes transportation, overhead, bonding costs, safety oversight, quality control oversight, and supervision as required to construct the project described in the drawings and technical specifications. For more detailed information, please review the attached SOW entitled, "Installation of Bedrock Wells at Booster Neutrino Beam (BNB)." Proposals are due 02/05/2025 at 5pm CT. The prospective offeror should examine and review the solicitation with care. Any prospective offeror desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing by 3:00 P.M. CT, Friday, January 17, 2025. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a subcontract will not be binding. Any information given to a prospective offeror concerning a solicitation will be furnished promptly to all other prospective offerors as an amendment to the solicitation if that information is necessary for submitting proposals or if the lack of the information would be prejudicial to other prospective offerors.
