Renovation of a mixed-use development in Batavia, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Notice is hereby given that Batavia Public School District 101, Kane County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for the Library Updates at Batavia High School and Rotolo Middle School - Bid Release 1. This project includes the following trade packages: 09D-1 Acoustical Ceiling, 09F-1 Flooring, 09G-1 Painting, and 26A-1 Electrical. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope and labeled aEURoeLibrary Updates at Batavia High School and Rotolo Middle School - Bid Release 1aEUR, with the date and time of the bid opening, the ContractoraEUR(TM)s name and address, and the Trade Package. A bid day label is supplied in the Construction ManageraEUR(TM)s Manual and Specification Book. SCOPE OF WORK The proposed project for Bid Release 1 includes but is not limited to new flooring, new ceilings, painting, and electrical updates to the Libraries at Batavia High School and Rotolo Middle School. Prospective bidders should contact Kirstie Greatsinger at Lamp Incorporated (kgreatsinger@lampinc.net) to be placed on the bid list. Bidders will then be granted access to SmartBid for free download of the bid documents. Lamp Incorporated will be utilizing SmartBid for the entire bidding process, including addenda, so all interested bidders must contact Lamp Incorporated to access the Website. All contractors wishing to bid on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Contractors Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last twelve months. The Contractors Qualification Statement is due in the Lamp Incorporated office by 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2025. In addition, the Contractor Qualification Statement form is posted on website. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. In addition, the successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this project. Revised rates will apply for the duration of the contract. This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Batavia Public School District 101 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities.
