The project consists of the replacement of approximately 1,290 linear feet of 6 and 8 cast iron water main with 8 and 12 ductile iron restrained joint water main and related appurtenances, replacement of approximately 51 residential water services, connection to existing water mains, service transfers, and restoration. The water main replacement will occur within Ambaum Blvd S between South 168th Street and Des Moines Memorial Drive and on South 173rd Place. The project is located in the City of Burien in Sections 29 and 32, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W. M., King County, Washington. The Bidder shall direct any questions to Mr. Jorgan Peadon general manager of the District at 2062428535. a copy of Bidders Employer Liability Certificate, and a bid proposal deposit in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cashiers check, or certified check made payable to the King County Water District No. 49 for a sum of not less than 5 percent of the total bid. The bid shall not be considered unless accompanied by such bid proposal deposit. Notice to proceed with Construction of this project will not he issued until such time that all necessary permits a re issued and received by the District.
