Site work for a water / sewer project in Ayer, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work is generally described as construction of new drainage infrastructure on a portion of Bligh Street as indicated on the Drawings and Specifications. The work includes the installation of approximately 460 linear feet of drainage pipe and includes the installation of drainage structures. The time for completion of this contract is 100 calendar days. Each General Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. The successful General Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids. This advertisement does not obligate the Owner for any costs associated with preparing or submitting bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
