The work includes road paving work funded under the MassDOT Chapter 90 program. Work includes Cold Planing, Bituminous Concrete Paving, Pavement Reclaiming & Grading, Reinforced Crack Sealing, Treated Stone Seal, Rubberized Chip Seal, Line Painting, Curbing, Sidewalks and other related work. Quantities on the Bid Form are approximate only and will be used for comparison of bids and to set the amount of the Bid Deposit. The contract award will be dependent on available funding. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid Total for Year 1 - 2025. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of sixty (60) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids. This advertisement does not obligate the Owner for any costs associated with preparing or submitting bids. The successful bidder(s) will execute separate contracts with each Town/DPW. The successful bidder(s) shall furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The awarding of this item may be extended for an additional two years (2026 & 2027) at the option of each Individual Awarding Authority with no price escalation except for Bituminous Concrete Adjustment. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
