Grove Pond Water Treatment Plant Resin Media Replacement The Ayer Department of Public Works (DPW), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Grove Pond Water Treatment Plant Resin Filter Media Replacement for the Ayer DPW in Ayer, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by the Ayer DPW. The project is located at the Grove Pond Water Treatment Plant, 99 Barnum Road in Ayer. The Work consists of removal and replacement of filter media (Resin) and the rehabilitation of one (1) existing resin filter at the Grove Pond Water Treatment Plant. All work shall be substantially complete within 60 consecutive calendar days of the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed and fully completed within 90 consecutive calendar days of the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 02/24/2025 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Designer. The Designer will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. The project is located at the Grove Pond Water Treatment Plant at 99 Barnum Road in Ayer, MA. Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, removal and disposal of the resin media currently used in the two 12-ft diameter ion exchange vessels (424 cubic feet of Calgon 2301 per vessel) and supplying and placing the same volume of new resin in the same vessels for PFAS removal in accordance with these Specifications.
