Remove and replace approximately 5600 sf of carpet tile and 1200 lf of cove base at the Department of Transportation office in Dickinson, ND. Performance Bond. Successful bidders will not be required to furnish a performance bond; however, failure to perform satisfactorily will result in the immediate termination of the contract(s) and bidders may be subject to removal from the bidder's list. Work consists of removal of existing 2' by 2' carpet tiles glued to a concrete floor and placement of new carpet tiles and cove base. Office building is located at 1700 3rd Avenue West, Dickinson, ND. There is 5,626 square feet of carpet removal and installation in ten rooms plus hallways, two closets, two entry ways, and a stair landing (see attachment). There is 1,174 linear feet of cove base to install. Most rooms will be emptied one half at a time due to large furniture. Carpet removal and installation must be done half at a time, working around the furniture. Employees will move furniture as requested by the contractor. The office will remain open for business during this work, but employees will relocate from their workstations as necessary. Work hours available for removal and installation are Monday through Friday, 7 am MT to 4:30 MT, excluding holidays. Completion date is May 30, 2025.
