Sandy City Recreation Center will be a new recreation/community center that will be replacing the current Alta Canyon Sports Center. The site is located at 9565 South Highland Drive, Sandy, Utah 84092. New building scope will include, but not be limited to, demolition of existing building with care to preserve/protect the existing swimming pool and constructing a new facility. The new facility will consist of office space for center staff, reception area, gym(s), community room, group fitness, locker/changing facilities, storage room, supply receiving area, new pool mechanical equipment, pool chemical room, lounge, elevated track with areas for exercise equipment, and outdoor patio areas. Anticipate a building size of approximately 30,000-42,000 GSF. Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP): The guaranteed maximum price is the final price that the Contractor agrees to accept in full performance of the Construction Manager/General Contractor Agreement and will be based on the final contract drawings and specifications. The GMP will be adopted via an amendment to the Contract Documents once the final contract documents and specifications are completed, shall be consistent with GM/GC's proposal, and shall include all fees and percentages required by this RFP, as well as the costs for General Conditions and all work as required in the Contract Documents. The GMP cannot exceed of $19,500,000.00.
