Renovation of an office development in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 849-square-foot office development.

Reference Number 0000374781 This project entails construction of three offices in a current open area. Work to be performed includes but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, finishes, surface preparation to include repair where applicable, and painting. The fourth floor will be occupied for the duration of construction. Construction shall be coordinated with the selected contractor and owner to allow operations to continue uninterrupted. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 7am-5pm. Interior work that is especially noisy or odorous shall be done during unoccupied times unless prior approval is received by the COA Project Manager. However, contractors are not required to assume any after-hours work in their bids; after-hours work will be negotiated with the selected contractor. Work not specifically called for, but which must be accomplished to construct the work required under this contract, shall be considered as a part of this contract, whether or not specifically detailed. The Contract Documents require that all work be completed within 90 calendar days, after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $200.00 per day. O The estimated cost for this project ranges from $270,000.00 to $300,00.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to accept that bid which is considered to be in the best interest of the City.
