Reference Number 0000375089 The intent of this project is to have the Electrical Contractor serve as the prime contractor and for the fire alarm vendor to serve as the subcontractor for the fire alarm system replacement as detailed in the provided documents. Coordination with the school district is essential to ensure compliance and proper system setup. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price as shown on the Form of Proposal submitted. All bid bonds must be submitted electronically. The bid Security will be forfeited or payable, as the case may be, to the Owner (as liquidated damages for such failure, not as a penalty), should a bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fail to execute the Construction Agreement and furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after receipt of notice of acceptance of his bid.
