The County of Greenville is requesting quotes for the demolition and removal of all structures and debris at 20 Arch Street Extention, Greenville, SC 29617. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Demolition (raze/ tear down) of all structure(s), to include removal of the structure(s), removal of all debris, weeds, rank vegetation, driveways, slabs, foundation walls, impervious surfaces, and fences. Sever and seal electrical, gas, water, sewer, and telephone utility mains per the Utility Companies Directives, also to fill open wells, removal/crushing/fill-in of septic tanks, underground fuel tanks, etc. on property(ies) to South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control standards. Demolition of the structure shall be in accordance with all applicable regulations for the properties located at: 20 Arch Street Extension, Greenville, SC Tax Map Number 0236.00-06-043.00. The structure has experienced two fires over the last year, with the most recent occurring on January 21, 2025. Asbestos WAS detected on the property. Project design and air monitoring will be required for asbestos abatement. Greenville County has contracted with S&ME for project design and air monitoring services. Coordination with S&ME and Greenville County Codes is required to conduct the air monitoring during the abatement. Due to extensive damage and joint compound contamination from the fires, S&ME advises the entire structure be demolished as an "ACM in Place" demolition, with the asbestos remaining in place, as constructing containment inside is not feasible. GIS Map, S&ME Asbestos Abatement Specifications, and S&ME Asbestos Assessment are attached. Where air monitoring is required, the contractor must notify the Greenville County Code Compliance representative of the date the abatement contractor will be on site to have air monitoring in place. Ample notice must be given in order to arrange the services. Leveling and grading of entire site and seeding the property with a mixture of grass seed, specifications found in Section G "CLEAN-UP" of this document. Construction of any temporary passageways meeting the requirements of these specifications may be required Question Deadline 02/05/2025 at 5:00 PM ET
