The Marin Housing Authority (MHA) is a public entity responsible for providing safe and affordable public housing for low- to moderate-income residents. MHA manages properties, housing programs, and housing partnerships in Marin County, California. Currently, MHA owns, partners and/or manages ten developments of United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) public housing, 100 Tax Credit Units, and over 3,200 Section 8 Tenant Housing Vouchers. MHA has two offices and approximately 54 employees. MHA invites qualified, licensed, and insured entities to submit proposals for providing the On-Call Tree Trimming and Maintenance services described below. If you submit a proposal, please make sure it conforms with the requirements/ specifications outlined in this document and attachments. Question Submission Deadline:March 3, 2025, 11:59pm Questions submitted online. A. General Tree Maintenance Services Provide routine tree trimming, pruning, and maintenance to ensure the health, safety, and aesthetics of trees on MHA properties. Remove dead, damaged, or diseased branches to prevent hazards and improve tree structure. Perform seasonal trimming for growth control, canopy shaping, and clearance from buildings, power lines, and walkways. Conduct stump grinding and removal services as needed. Maintain and care for newly planted trees, including watering, mulching, and fertilization. Assess trees for pest infestations and diseases, providing appropriate treatments or removal recommendations. B. Emergency Tree Services Provide 24/7 emergency response for fallen trees, storm-damaged limbs, or hazardous situations. Respond within 2 hours for urgent tree-related safety concerns. Remove debris and clear pathways after storm events or accidents. C.
