SCOPE OF SERVICES: The City of Boynton Beach "City" Public Works Engineering Department is requesting sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms to provide construction services to repair structural deficiencies found during a forensic evaluation of the Boynton Beach Children's Schoolhouse Museum located at 129 East Ocean Avenue, Boynton Beach, Florida 33435. The work under this project consists of the removal/ replacement of existing construction as necessary to accommodate new work; protection of all existing displays, equipment, materials, etc. that are to remain and installation of all new structural repairs, components, etc. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles, furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, essential communications, etc., as necessary to complete the project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Project Design Plans, Technical Specifications and Bid No. PWE 25-027B Documents herein, along with all engineering, shop drawings, and other documentation necessary to obtain all applicable permits and all bonds, securities, licenses and insurance to complete the project as specified herein and within the Project Design Plans. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications/scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county and local regulatory requirements. The City reserves the right to award to more than one Contractor. The Contractor(s) shall act as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the City.
