Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
No bid will be opened unless the "Bidders Proof of Responsibility" for 2025 is filed in the office of the City Clerk not later than February 12, 2025. Forms are included in specifications, and are also available at the office of the City Clerk. Reference is made to Section 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Pre-Qualification: Yes Removal and replacement of existing stone base and curb and gutter. Grade new stone base for placement of new asphalt pavement by others. Remove and replace sidewalk as marked in the field.
