Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Prattville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,324-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.
The Project's scope of work consists of the improvements within an existing single-story pre-engineered metal building of +/- 6,324 gross sq. ft. on a current developed site in Autauga County, Alabama. The work will consist of constructing three (3) new conditioned storage rooms, with a mezzanine above, and a single-use restroom. The Project shall be substantially completed within 60 days from the Notice-to-Proceed date. All subcontractors and vendors interested in the project are invited to attend. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Autauga County Commission in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Also, a copy of the General Contractor's license must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after bid date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
