Reference Number : 0000374599 The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 1,900 linear feet of 14-inch diameter steel pipe, and 7,950 linear feet of 16-inch diameter steel pipe, including appurtenances, and 150 linear feet of 24-inch diameter steel casing and 14-inch carrier pipe beneath in-service railroad tracks; installation of service laterals and meter boxes; installation of fire hydrants; installation of air vacuum valve and assemblies; installation of cathodic protection system; pressure and leakage testing; disinfection; installation of the system connection (closure) to the existing water mains; removal of pipelines from the ground (identified for removal), and restoration of the existing landscaping, surfaces (including but not limited to asphalt and concrete and other improvements), fences, and drainage systems to their original condition. The work also involves installing concrete piers and abutments and procuring and installing a prefabricated steel bridge to support new water pipe over an existing flood control channel.
