Site work for a mixed-use development in Union City, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Union City requests proposals from qualified firms to provide design services for the Arizona Street Bicycle Boulevard Boulevard along Arizona Street from Hop Ranch Road to Royal Ann Road. 1. Collect relevant data on bicyclists, pedestrians, alternate/parallel/connecting routes, origin/destination locations, existing infrastructure/roadway geometry, signage, and intersection sight distances on Arizona Street. 2. Design appropriate bicycle boulevard elements into Arizona Street with: a) Bicycle signage b) Pavement legends c) Wayfinding signage to Alameda Creek Trail and Alvarado-Niles Rd. 3. Use of current plans and design standards/guides/policies to develop plans & details include but are not limited to: Union City Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan, CA MUTCD, NACTO, MTC Complete Streets Policy. Scope of Services shall be completed within 80 calendar days of the date of the signed Acceptance of Proposal/Authorization to Proceed (excluding delivery lead times).
