The City of Union City, California, is seeking a qualified firm to provide construction management (CM), inspection services and materials testing for the At-Grade Pedestrian Crossing at BART project. City’s Public Works Department is responsible for designing, reviewing, constructing, and maintaining City’s infrastructure. Currently, engineering projects are overseen by both in-house engineers and inspectors and by consultants. The At-Grade Pedestrian Crossing at BART project requires further augmentation of City staff due to workload and scheduling issues. Request for proposals for the following service categories is requested: • Construction Management (CM) • Inspection • Materials Testing Start Construction June /July, 2025 End Construction March, 2026 Project Closeout May, 2026 Number of Working Days: 160 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
