Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price as shown on the Form of Proposal submitted. All bid bonds must be submitted electronically. The bid Security will be forfeited or payable, as the case may be, to the Owner (as liquidated damages for such failure, not as a penalty), should a bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fail to execute the Construction Agreement and furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after receipt of notice of acceptance of his bid.
