Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work shall consist of the cleanly cut existing concrete slab and completely remove of the existing trench drain, grates and steel angles. Care shall be taken in removing the existing concrete as to not damage adjacent concrete slab, existing rebar or underground drain lines. All other exposed existing rebar shall be sandblasted and epoxy coated. Install new #5 12"long dowel bars at 48"o.c. set in epoxy grout -6" min. into existing concrete slab and 6" into new slab. Install new Extra Heavy Duty 12" pre formed trench drain channel with new galv. steel frames, slotted removable grates. All shall be installed per manufacturer's specifications. Frame out and install new concrete infill around the perimeter of the new trench drains where the concrete was removed, elevations to match existing, slope to drain.. Connect new trench drain channel to existing underground drain lines.
