Site work for a civil project in Metropolis, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The City of Metropolis is seeking bids for a storm water project located on Hope Lane between North Avenue and Market Street. The work will consist of removal of all existing culverts along Hope Lane, installation of concrete manhole with grate and storm sewer with vertical tees and grate openings. Finishing work will need to include disposal of all debris, grading all areas, laying riprap in needed areas, making any elevation repairs where necessary, and seeding with straw of all disturbed areas. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish policies of insurance. The City of Metropolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids when the public interest will be served thereby. The City reserves the right to waive any and all irregularities with respect to the bids.
