Site work for a water / sewer project in Metropolis, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Metropolis is now accepting sealed bids for the installation of approximately210 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main with three (3) service taps, located at 9th & Pearl Street. Scope of Work Includes:- Installation of 210 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main- Three (3) sewer taps- Backfill road and alley with compacted rock. Pour concrete patches All necessary materials including: o Two (2) manholes0 8-inch pipe with fittings o Concrete o Rock Additional Requirements:- All work must comply with applicable local, state, and feder-al regulations.- Prevailing wage rates as determined by the Illinois Depart-ment of Labor shall apply to this project. The City of Metropolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids when the public interest will be served thereby. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process.
