Site work for a water / sewer project in Metropolis, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work will consist of replacing 120 linear ft of collapsed storm sewer with 60 inch dual wall pipe, and installation of a grate drain to replace the one being removed, backfill, and landscaping. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish policies of insurance. Contractors must provide Certified Monthly Payroll Reports showing compliance with the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, (30 ILCS 570), et seq., and the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 UKCS 130/.01 et seq. The City of Metropolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids when the public interest will be served thereby. The City reserves the right to waive any and all irregularities with respect to the bids.
