Notice is hereby given this project is a Public Works Project and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, P.L., 744 and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act No. 442 of August 15, 1961, as amended on August 9, 1963. The bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to Lackawanna County. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding. If written notice of the acceptance of this bid is mailed or delivered to the bidder within sixty (60) days after the opening thereof, or at any time thereafter before the bid is withdrawn, the bidder agrees to execute and deliver the Agreement in the form prescribed by Lackawanna County. Project Location: Blakely Borough and Archbald Borough, Lackawanna County, PA. Scope:- Roadway paving, retaining wall construction, sidewalk & curb ramp installation, including all related work . Question Deadline 02/20/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be received in writing or via internet email by the Architect/Engineer. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. PID-2307006. 00
