In order to facilitate flexible project planning and budgeting, the District requests a baseline cost for each 100 square feet of painted area. This baseline will be used to scale the project as needed, depending on the total area to be painted. The successful contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the work, ensuring a durable, high-quality finish that meets all applicable standards and regulations 1. Paint Material o Must be premium-grade paint suitable for the specified surface (interior or exterior). o Low or zero VOC products are highly preferred to minimize health and environmental impacts. o Paints must comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., ASTM and EPA guidelines). 2. Color and Finish o The District will select colors, which may include multiple tones for different spaces. o Acceptable finishes include flat/matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss, as determined by the specific area's needs (e.g., high-traffic corridors). o Where relevant, primer and paint must be color-matched for consistent coverage. 3. Performance Standards o All paints must exhibit good washability, scuff resistance, and color retention. o Must adhere to surfaces without peeling or cracking for the duration of the warranty period under normal use conditions
