The Jurupa Community Services District, California (District) will receive bids for the District's Annual Sewer Repair and Replacement Project - Pyrite St. / 60 Fwy. The project consists of furnishing, installing, testing, and making operational approximately 135 L.F. of 8-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC sewer main, 235 L.F. of 10-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC sewer main, 3,720 L.F. of 12-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC sewer main, 660 L.F. of 15-inch SDR-35 sewer main, 717 L.F. of 10-inch diameter SDR-35 within 18-inch steel pipe casing, 41 L.F. of 12-inch diameter SDR-35 within 18-inch Steel Pipe sewer main, twenty-four 48-inch diameter manhole, one 60-inch diameter manhole, five 60-inch diameter shallow manhole; all connections to existing sewer main removal of or abandonment of existing sewer main, reconnection of sewer laterals; all appurtenances; and all associated paving, trenching, and surface restoration; import materials; excavation, backfilling, compaction, paving, traffic control and all other work and materials to complete the contract work. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, transportation, tools, supplies, plant, equipment, and appurtenances, unless specifically excepted, for the satisfactory completion of the entire contract work, in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. The Engineer's Estimated Construction Cost is $4,870,000. All work under this contract shall be completed and operational within 300 calendar days from the date the District gives written "Notice of Award" to the Contractor. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to check the website daily through the close of bids for any applicable addenda or updates and to furnish the District with current prospective bidder contact information for the distribution of any and all addenda or updates. If the bidder is a specialty contractor, the bidder is alerted to the requirements of Business and Professions Code Section 7059.
