Renovation of a medical facility in Summerland, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Summerland Health Centre requires replacing the existing rooftop units at Dr. Andrew Pavilion Long Term Care Facility. RTUs to be replaced with more reliable equipment for the safety and comfort of the clients at this facility. The original specifications for the RTUs do not meet the needs of the site requirement and equipment is beyond its expected life cycle for both heating and cooling purposes. The new RTU equipment would add equal ventilation, heating, and cooling capacities. Contractor is to procure the RTU equipment. The scope of work will also include minor pipe and duct revisions on the roof to achieve the requirements of the current codes and standards; however, extensive base building or system upgrades are not included with the scope of work.
