Chester High School Roof Rehabilitation Questions Due Date: Feb 24th 2025, 4:00 PM EST The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a new built-up roofing system, flashing upgrades, insulation upgrades, deck repairs, roof drain repairs, sealing of perimeter coping, removal and re-installation of lighting protection system, and select removal and patching of abandoned rooftop equipment. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. There is no physical public bid opening for this project, bids will be revealed via online The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Owner. SUMMARY A. Contract work includes replacement of the existing building roof, to the extend and with the materials described on the project technical specifications and drawings.
