Anticipated Project Schedule February 4, 2025 - RFB Released February 18, 2025 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to Submit Questions (via email to acamponuri@openspace.org) February 21, 2025 - Final Addendum Issued February 25, 2025 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to Submit Bid (via email to acamponuri@openspace.org) February 28, 2025 - Written Notice of Award of Contract March 7, 2025 - Deadline to Submit Payment and Performance Bonds, Proof of Insurance, and Signed Agreement Week of March 10, 2025 - Notice to Proceed; Pre-Construction Meeting (can be scheduled earlier if Contractor submittals are received early) October 31, 2025 - Project Completion DeadlinePreserve. License Requirements The contractor must provide proof of a California Contractor License for a C-27, PCB, and a QAL (B or E). Project Duration The contract will run from the Notice to Proceed date anticipated in March 2025 until October 31, 2025. Budget The budget has been set at $40,000. Insurance Requirements o Workers Compensation (Statutory) o Commercial General Liability, including coverage for Bodily Injury and Property Damage with limits no less than $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $2,000,000 Aggregate with Additional Insured Endorsement using the following language: "Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, its officers, agents and employees are included as additional insured on all policies except Workers Compensation." o Business Automobile Liability coverage including owned, non-owned and hired vehicles with limits of no less than $1,000,000.00 per occurrence. Examination of Site Attention is directed to Bidder's obligation to examine the Work site; compare the site with the Plans and Specifications; determine any site variation that affects the Bid; and investigate the conditions of existing clearances, restrictions, or limitations that affect access to the Work. Bidder's failure to do any and all of the above shall not be a basis for claim of additional monies or extension of time.
