As of March 20, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase. An architect is expected to be selected in April 2025. The only phase the owner is able to move forward with now is Feasibility Study/Schematic Design phase and it is from now until January 2027. If the owner moves forward with project, the same Designer and Subconsultants that provides the Feasibility will also provide DDs/CDs. Construction more than likely wouldn’t start until mid-2029 if funding is approved. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Designer selection will be made through MSBA Designer Selection Panel. An approved potential project may include a renovation of the existing school, a renovation and addition to the existing school, and/or new construction. The MSBA Model School Program may be considered by the Owner. The estimated total construction costs range from $350,000,000 to $700,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
