DESCRIPTION: Approved NRM Project 523A5-17-900 Mental Health Safety Improvements, Door Sensors, Building 2, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Boston Healthcare, Brockton. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, equipment and coordination to install anti-ligature door alarm systems detailed to fit at the existing doors and hollow metal frames. These systems will be monitored at the nurse stations. Renovations will require running conduit to each door frame for low-voltage wiring associated with the system. Provide all labor, material, equipment, coordination, transportation, supervision, selective demolition, construction, alterations, renovations of interior spaces to complete work to install anti-ligature door alarm systems at the existing doors and hollow metal frames on in Wards 2-1-B, 2-2-B, 2-3-B, 2-3-C and 2-4-B at Building 2, Brockton VA Medical Center as per drawings and specifications for the Mental Health Safety Improvements, Project 523A5-17-900. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. SITE VISIT: An organized site is scheduled for, Thursday, May 02, 2019 at 1:00PM ET. Only one site visit will be conducted.
