Renovation of a transportation facility in Brockton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of an existing boiler heating system at its downtown Intermodal Transportation Center (BAT Center). The performance of this contract is subject to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all equal employment opportunity requirements. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to the request. Proposals will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, creed, ancestry, national origin, disability, veteran's status (including Vietnam-era veterans), or background. The contract work resulting from this solicitation must be completed no later than June 27, 2025. This project is contingent on the availability of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration and is subject to the terms and conditions of the grant agreement and the availability of funds from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Transportation. E. Requests for approved equals, requests for clarification and questions must be received by BAT in writing via email to jmech@ridebat.com no later than Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 4:00 PM. Delivery of all questions and requests is the responsibility of the bidder.
