Deadline to Submit Questions Thursday, 02/06/2025, 4:00 p.m.2025. Description of Bid: The City of Asheville is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed landscape contractors with deep horticultural knowledge to successfully maintain heavily used turf areas on parks and recreational facilities. Parks to be included in the bid are as follows in the Exhibit A section below. Correct horticultural practices for keeping the turf areas mowed at the proper height. Edging sidewalks adjacent to the turf areas and string trimming areas not reachable by mowing equipment. Blowing clippings from turf areas after mowing and also removing clippings from sidewalks or mulched areas. Leaf collection and removal from turf and natural areas. The City of Asheville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities.
