Contract #:CPFAC00945 Federal Project #:N/A IRIS Program #:CPFAC00945 The Engineers Estimate is Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 This state funded project will construct life safety improvements to smoke control systems in the Robert B. Atwood Building (550 W. 7th Ave) in Anchorage, Alaska. Work includes removal and replacement of smoke control makeup air handlers and ductwork, modifications to fire and smoke control dampers, installation of a new smoke control panel, and related electrical, architectural, and structural improvements. Location of Project: Anchorage, Alaska Contracting Officer: Sean L. Holland, P.E., Regional Director To be responsive, a bid must include a bid guaranty equal to 5% of the amount bid, The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract All work shall be completed by November 15, 2025 A bidder requesting assistance in viewing the project site must make arrangements at least 48 hours in advance. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Removal of existing smoke control makeup air handlers at the basement level Replacement of an existing smoke control makeup air handler above the firstfloor ceiling Construction of a new architectural/structural platform to support and access the makeup air unit Modifications to fire and smoke control dampers at each floor of the building Removal of old smoke control ductwork at the penthouse level Construction of new smoke control ductwork and damper(s) at the penthouse level Construction of a new smoke control panel at the first floor, plus tie-ins to the existing fire alarm panel Electrical, architectural and structural support of the above items
