Various Project Title & Contract Description .: JNU: Juneau Egan Drive Lighting Improvements / SR Regionwide Lighting Improvements- Electrical Engineering Services The purpose of these project is to upgrade existing high-pressure sodium (HPS) light heads with light emitting diode (LED) heads, utilizing existing poles. The JNU Egan Drive Lighting Improvements project limits are Egan Drive from Mendenhall Loop Boulevard to 10th street. The SR Regionwide Lighting Improvements project limits the remaining state-owned luminaries in Sitka, Wrangell, Haines, Klawock, Petersburg, Skagway, Hoonah, Gustavus, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Kodiak. These projects will reduce the departments operating cost by utilizing more efficient technology. Knowledge of existing highway and street lighting conditions and LED performance metrics will be of great benefit in the successful completion of this project..
