Demo dried solids conveyor equipment, portions ofsupersack loadout station structure, portions of odorous air duct work, electrical power and process control panels, conduits, and conductors, remove rotary air lock at extraction screw. Provide functional and performance testing, and commissioning services for installed project upgrades. Furnish and install new rotary air lock, biosolids crusher and controller, tubular drag conveyor and conveyor controllerto collect and convey crushed dried biosolidsto the supersack loading station, a platform with ladder access to the existing extraction screw conveyor at the Biosolids Belt Dryer Equipment, concrete housekeeping and structural post grout pads for process equipment, a dust collection system, crusherprocess remote i/o panel, and signage informing operations personnel ofprotectionsrequired for safety. Modify the supersack loadout station structure to accommodate the new tubular drag conveyor equipment. Extend instrument air (IA) distribution system to new dust collector andmodify IA distribution at existing bag fdl stations, install visual/barrier system to protect new tubular bag drag conveyor and dust collector from forklift operations, and provide SCADA System Integration services to integrate operation of crusher and dust collection process equipment into the automated process control ofthe existing belt dryer. Crusher to increase the density of dried biosolids prior to bagging. The tubular drag conveyor is to be configured to contain dust created from crushing operations. Work also includes, but is not limited to, the Contractor to provide wet cake solids collection and disposal services at the MWWTP to receive wet cake solids pumped from the plant through existing plant piping into Contractor furnished lined dumpsters mounted on truck trailers, secure services for transport and disposal ofwet cake biosolids, and to maintain these temporary provisions for biosolids collection and disposal throughout the duration ofthe Project. This project consists of demolition of conveyor equipment, the furnishing, installation and commissioning of a biosolids crusher and facility modifications of City & Borough of Juneau's Mendenhall Wastewater Treatment Plant - Biosolids Building.
